"Being a black woman means purpose. I truly consider it a gift to be given such uniqueness and creativity. We are strong, innovative, and powerful by nature. Our culture transcends inspires and empowers nations. Being a black woman means, responsibility. I am obligated to use what I have and who I am to encourage young black girls to be powerful, know their worth and be an example to them that is opposite of what society wants us to believe. Being a black woman means getting to the core of me, embracing my flaws as gifts, while being teachable,  able to learn, grow, and evolve, all without disrupting the unending twists and coils of my curly hair lol."
